Brew City Dog Rescue is a group of Milwaukee volunteers dedicated to finding loving homes for stray and abandoned dogs in the local area.

Many of the dogs we rescue are on “death row” (high risk for being put-down/euthanasia).  Their only crime is that they do not have a loving family to care for them.  We primarily receive dogs from local shelters and owner surrenders.

Unlike dogs you buy at the pet store or adopt from an animal shelter, prior to adoption all dogs are placed with loving foster families.  In a foster home dogs are able to adjust to home life and learn ”good doggie behavior” (potty training, crate training, obedience training, house manners, how-to play nice with children, etc).   They also receive the following medical care:
    -  Updated shots
    -  Neuter/Spay
    -  Heartworm Test
    -  Microchip
    -  Grooming
    -  Any other necessary veterinary care

This helps families save a tremendous amount of time, money, and energy to the adjustment of their new family member.

Brew City Rescue is proud to be a member and uphold the gold standards of:
