Sasha

I thought I’d give you the almost 4 month update on Sasha. She has definately bonded with all members of the family in different ways. She snuggles with Dan and I in the evenings and loves diving under the covers in our bed when one of us goes to bed early to read or watch TV. She still goes in the crate overnight. If she’s feeling neglected I’m the one she generally alerts that she needs more love. She sneaks away into our 9 year old’s room in the evening if the adults aren’t cooperating and making a cozy lap for her. Andrew and I are probably tied as far as her favorite people are concerned. Sasha knows that one year old Luke requires more patience from her (and that he has potential to be not always nice) but, her patience pays off because he also often has snacks that he happily shares with her and if she hangs out under the highchair she’s rewarded by one learning how to use utensils. 6 year old Julia is her favorite to torment with what’s meant to be a playfful nip to sock feet (we’re working on that) if Julia runs in the house (we’re working on that, too:) Sasha loves running in my parents’ backyard and works really hard to get their 10 year old golden retriever to chase her.

Bobbi and Paeton

Just wanted to give you an update on Bobbi!  This past week with her has been great!  She’s had 3 accidents, but all were because we didn’t wait outside long enough with her, so it’s not her fault   Her cough is almost completely gone, which is great, and we took her to the vet last Saturday and they said that aside from the respiratory infection left, she seemed to be in good health!  Paeton and her are getting along so well.  They play all day and sometimes at night they even lay together on the couch and snuggle together or with us!  She is a perfect angel.  I think both of them are getting a workout from playing together all the time, I think they needed that in each others lives! 
I’ve attached a few photos we’ve taken this past week!  We couldn’t be happier with our new little family addition!  Thanks so much for choosing us as her new home!  We’ll keep you posted on her in the coming weeks!  Hope you are doing well!
