Fostering Dogs
Our organization is always in need of foster homes. The more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save. We need people who can offer their homes as temporary residences for our dogs until permanent owners can be found.
As a foster-care volunteer, not only will you be providing a dog with the 1-on-1 attention it so desperately craves, you will be giving yourself a chance to see what it would be like to have a dog companion without the permanent commitment.
Our foster dog volunteers come from all walks of life with all different types of backgrounds and experiences. Whether you’re an experienced dog owner or neophyte, whether you’re a passionate dog lover or just curious about owning a dog, and everything in-between. We welcome all safe and loving foster homes.
We are very flexible with our foster homes. You can choose the type of dogs you want to foster, large dogs, small dogs, adult dogs only, etc. You can choose when you want to foster, take a month break in-between foster dogs, block off your summer months, choose to only serve as a back-up home when needed, etc.
Fostering is a very rewarding experience. Plus our foster homes always have first choice of adopting in dog in our rescue program.
